An Initiative of The Learning Team

It's Your Time

Helping people navigate longer lives with greater health, purpose, connection, and confidence.

About the Initiative

It's Your Time is an initiative of The Learning Team focused on democratizing longevity education.

People today are living longer than previous generations, creating both extraordinary opportunities and significant challenges for individuals, families, communities, workplaces, and society.

Yet most people receive little practical education about how to navigate these longer lives.

It's Your Time seeks to help fill that gap through learning, innovation, partnerships, and public engagement.

Why Longevity Education Matters

Young people have countless institutions to prepare them for what's next — schools, universities, mentors, and youth and leadership programs. There's almost no equivalent preparation for life in our 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond.

Yet those years hold some of the most consequential decisions people ever face — about health, purpose, relationships, finances, housing, and community.

It's Your Time exists to fill that gap: new forms of lifelong learning that help people navigate these years with greater confidence, connection, and wellbeing.

The Big Questions

As people live longer lives, individuals and communities face new questions

  • How can people make the most of their gift of years?
  • How do we maintain health and wellbeing across longer lives?
  • How do we stay socially connected and engaged?
  • How do we continue learning, contributing, and finding purpose?
  • How do communities adapt to changing demographics and longer lifespans?

Our Focus Areas

Lifelong Wellbeing

Helping people understand practical ways to support physical, emotional, cognitive, and social wellbeing throughout life.

Purpose and Engagement

Exploring how people can remain engaged, connected, and purposeful across changing life stages.

Longevity Literacy

Helping individuals and communities better understand the opportunities and realities created by longer lives.

Community Innovation

Supporting new ideas and partnerships that strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

Intergenerational Learning

Encouraging connections and shared learning across generations.

Our Approach

We believe longevity education should not be limited to experts, academics, or affluent communities.

Our goal is to make practical, evidence-based learning about longer lives more accessible, engaging, and relevant to everyday people.

An instructor helps a group of older adults learn to use laptops in a class.

We seek to accomplish this through:

  • Educational content and curriculum development
  • Public dialogue and community engagement
  • Partnerships and collaborations
  • Innovation initiatives
  • Research and thought leadership
  • Intergenerational learning opportunities

Looking Ahead

An evolving initiative

Future efforts may include educational programs, community pilots, partnerships, public conversations, intergenerational projects, and new tools that help people navigate longer lives with greater confidence and connection. We welcome collaborators, advisors, and partners who share this vision.
