STEM Education and Assessment
The Learning Team continues its longstanding work supporting science education, curriculum development, assessments, and professional learning aligned with state and national standards.
Advancing learning across the lifespan.
Helping people and communities navigate longer lives through learning, wellbeing, and community engagement.
For decades, The Learning Team has helped learners succeed through innovative educational programs, assessments, and partnerships. Today, we are expanding that mission through It's Your Time — a new initiative focused on democratizing longevity education and helping people prepare for the opportunities and challenges of longer lives.
Who We Are
The Learning Team is a nonprofit dedicated to improving lives through learning, innovation, and practical problem-solving — with longstanding work in STEM education, assessment, and curriculum development.
We're now extending that work to lifelong wellbeing and longevity. Learning shouldn't stop at graduation: as people live longer, they need practical knowledge and new ways to think about health, purpose, work, and community.
Our Work
The Learning Team continues its longstanding work supporting science education, curriculum development, assessments, and professional learning aligned with state and national standards.
A new initiative focused on democratizing longevity education and helping people navigate the opportunities and challenges of longer lives — exploring lifelong wellbeing, healthy aging, social connection, purpose, and community engagement.
Why This Matters
For the first time in history, large numbers of people will live 25 to 35 years beyond traditional retirement age. Yet most individuals, communities, workplaces, and institutions remain poorly prepared for the realities and possibilities of longer lives.
We believe people need greater access to practical, evidence-based learning that helps them make informed decisions, stay engaged, maintain wellbeing, support one another, and continue contributing throughout life.
Our goal is to help make longevity education accessible to everyone — not just experts or the privileged few.
Partnerships and Collaboration
The Learning Team works with educators, nonprofits, community organizations, researchers, innovators, and public agencies to develop practical learning tools and initiatives that improve lives and strengthen communities. We welcome opportunities for collaboration.
